Yeah, I can't imagine why the Army would want people who are financially solvent in positions that need a security clearance.
They're getting bolder in RC-W..

We let officers who screw specialists or punch hookers retain a TS clearance so I'm not really sure what the issue is.

I recall the last time I was in AFROTC they had to do a credit check for similar reasons. Also, I had to provide documentation showing I paid the only speeding ticket I ever had (7 yrs prior), but other than the ticket, like you I never had any legal issues or health concerns, DODMERB was good, AFOQT was through the roof…
But I got kicked out for admitting I had a bachelor’s degree
Yeah, what’s the situation?
WHAT"S THE STORY BEHIND THAT??
Man, we should have cloned twenties. Jackson wouldn't have given a shit.

So what's your sob story as to why you quit ROTC?

That was not me, I quit ROTC around Christmas '06 and have been a lazy bum since then. No real sob story involved, just got burned out on school and my grades slipped up something fierce.
I did my flight packet about two years ago to try to get into WOFT, but I ultimately didn't get accepted. If I still have a desire to be in the Army after my three year contract I will definitely try again.
So you're E-type now?
The officer (Major type) in question was "deployed" to Stuttgart for a whopping 3 months. So rough. He was arrested for being drunk in public and punching a hooker. It's not really up to me to determine who to believe. He was also a company commander.
Ezmartini, you think? You don't know?

Sassy, maybe he tipped her extra in order to punch her.

I never understood the whole 'drunk in public' charges... Seriously, is a bar not public and are there not a shit ton of drunks there? Why aren't they all in jail? Maybe I just don't know the verbiage of the law, but judging by the title of the charge I would say anyone drunk in any public place would qualify. I just don't get it.
Never heard of the jargon 'e-type' or 'o-type'? It means enlisted. I had no idea you enlisted.

I think "drunk in public" refers to being drunk and acting like a jackass in a public place. It's probably one of those catch-all laws.

I came into work today, and I swear Jim Henson and the muppets invaded the building. Kinda creepy to walk by all of these puppets with those dead eyes staring at you and their mouths all open as if to say something.

Just returned from my Dad's funeral. Yes, it was sudden & definitely unexpected (this early, at least). Had to re-live the same trip to Southern Ohio I drug the family through back in Feb.--for the funeral of my Grandmother.
