Link to news article. (http://www.boston.com/news/education/k_12/articles/2003/08/24/west_point_cadet_dies_after_tryout_run/)

I knew running was bad for you. I keep trying to tell the cadre that we run far too much.

Quote from that article:

"He was strong militarily, physically and academically," said Furner. "It's common for someone to stand out in one area, but not all three. He did well in everything."

No offense, but he's dead, right? SOMETHING must have been wrong with him physically. Glad to see USMA's staffed with the brightest of bulbs.

And not to be morbid, but have you noticed that everyone that dies was a great person? There can't be that many great people. I would love to see an obituary or an interview with a former teacher that says "Well, he rarely showed up to my class and had no motivation." or "He just wasn't that smart." or "I once saw her beat a puppy." Honesty people! C'mon!

It never seems to be the fuckers who deserve dying doing the dying in these stories. Like me or Sammy for instance.

"This past thursday morning Cadet Luke Domer died suddenly after warm-up calesthenics at Comer County Polytechnic Army ROTC's Battalion Physical Training. "He was a crappy cadet, all in all..." said David Schotz, close friend and fellow cadet. When asked Lieutenant Colonel Hammond had this to say: "Well, his scores were low across the board. PT, Class rank, patrolling, land nav... You name it, chances are he was way below standard." A few of the cadets questioned said they would miss CDT Domer, but not for long."

*sigh* That sounds less funny after reading it.

All in good time. Domer has to die eventually.

No, probably just over-worried since he was the only person to post a complaint at UisforUSMA.com... dying from too much PT can't be the only way to tell he was an ROTC cadet at heart.

I'd like to see "that one guy" write "GOOD I'M GLAD THE FUCKER BOUGHT IT AND IS ROTTING IN HELL".
