An Army helicopter pilot from Mills River, N.C., was killed Saturday in Kapisa province, Afghanistan, in a helicopter crash, according to his pastor and the military.

A friend of mine knew him well apparently, he's home on leave and has been depressed the whole time he's been here in Clemson.

Side note, the one that's home on leave was mobbed by 6 guys downtown because he was trying to keep them out of the cab with some girls we know. Ridiculous, now he's gotta explain the huge shiner he's got, good thing he's got a police report.
