seriously, it would suck to be babysitting when something happened to the kid...the pool thing is the sitter's fault but i knew a girl (not that well) that babysat a teacher's kid and it died of SIDS...that would suck...but not like it ran into the pool, just stopped breathing..

yeah- makes me think of those "aiti-drug" commercials... you know the one with the toddler waddeling towards the pool where they say 'just tell her parents you were getting high. they'll understand.' Not that that's what happened, but...

After however long, there's got to be some brain damage, but they probably don't talk about it because they haven't been able to test it/the extent yet. but wow... that little heart just decided to beat. Pretty amazing.
