Now that's good...and so true. Too bad they didn't mention the TSP. Every time I want to review it or make adjustments I have to wait 2 weeks to have my account information mailed to me, and then wait 2 weeks to have my temporary password mailed to me.

I've given up on mypay lol like him I just hope the money comes in and there's leave when I need it. Lol
Best thing about the iPad the army gave me is that it checks ako email in the native email app.

I just use the email client Thunderbird (http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/) for all my email needs. It can handle any kind of email even AKO. Not sure what all the fuss is about when using email clients like thunderbird make it ridiculously easy to access all your email at once. Now the other stuff like mypay etc....well you gotta figure that one out on your own.

My pay is such a PITA that I just hope I get paid the right amount, I don't even worry about it unless I run out of money before the next pay period.

I obviously don't know anything about AKO, but it sounds pretty damn aggravating.

Try this... https://www.beta.army.mil/default.aspx
We've been using it for about a month now... let's us use our Androids and iPhones on the exchange network.
You do have to unforward your AKO mail for it to work. Email the beta.help if you want to participate. They'll contact you quickly and help you set up your account.
