Bling Bling Yall. Rolling on Dubs-2! Picked up my new truck on Saturday, that's why I haven't been on the forum all weekend. For those who can't tell, it's a 2004 Nissan Titan Crew Cab LE. It's pimp and that's all I gotta say. Oh yeah, 305hp, 379ftlb of torque, and zero to 60 in 6.9s. So just think about that before you make fun of my pasty white legs.

Nice. You know this board has actually been up and running since FEB 2003, so 1000 posts isn't really all too much. Especially when you take into account that I am one of only two admins (and the only one who does anything.) Also take into account that there is absolutly jack shit to do in Enterprise, AL. So considering those factors, I'll only be impressed when I hit 10,000 posts. Why don't you go make fun of Gambit, he's got like 750 posts and he doesn't even work here.

Yeah, it usually takes a lot. Anyways, back to my ride. After a little online research, I actually found that the Titan is the fastest half-ton out right now (minus the ford lighting and dodge srt.) So next time I'm at a light next to a guy in a Ram, I'll be sure and ask "Does that thing gotta Hemi" then proceed to smoke him.

Ehh... been there, done that. It's overrated... long hours, touchy bosses... I'd rather be one of the powerless masses, I s'pose.

This, by the way, is my 750th post... have I hit the AIFA Career Course yet?

Jefe, would you say that I have a plethora of pinatas?

Actually they're Wrangler SR-As. Not that I know anything about road tires, I'm more of an off-road kinda guy.

A bunch of stuff

My ribs hurt after that. Anyways, the position of Moderator (not admin) is open to any and all. You just have to do something as a mod.

Glad I'm making mission... which, of course, is to amuse you. ;)

You just have to do something as a mod.

What're you trying to say? Moving posts and correcting Domer's spelling errors wasn't enough?

Sammy Sandbag
5 April 2004, 16:32
Oh, you were correcting Domer's spelling too? Wow, he's one dumb bastard. How about I give you the single job of "Domer Spellchecker Guy"

TheTokenGook
5 April 2004, 16:45
I've had to do that too. You'd think after so many years of college he'd at least pass a 3rd grade spelling test. Geez

I don't know if I could handle that all by myself...

Hell, I can't either but not alot of people expect me too.

I wouldn' mind being a mod. But I'm not always on here, and I'll be leaving soon. So I'll leave it to the pros.

OK, so you've had that truck for a month or so now, and it's still that clean??? WTFo?

What's the dog's name? Golden retriever, or mix?

Sammy Sandbag
6 May 2004, 20:03
It's really not that clean, just doesn't show that badly. He's Claymore, and he's a full blooded Yellow Lab. Don't you know your dogs Gambit?

Sammy's trying to work the nice car/cute puppy routine....I hope it's workin for you...

The dog gets him points, but Sammy, say it ain't so - an automatic? You totally lose any cool points for the truck because of that.

Gambit

Don't you know your dogs Gambit?

Yeah, I guess that one's kinda obvious, huh? Worst part is I had a golden when I was a kid, I should be able to tell them apart... *sigh*... too much work.

Sammy, say it ain't so - an automatic? You totally lose any cool points for the truck because of that.

I'll have to agree, in principle, although I have to say that my truck is also an automatic. But then, Sammy got his new and had a choice... I had to take what was on the used car lot. That's the only thing I'd really change about my truck if I could (although something better than 10 mpg would nice too).

Sammy Sandbag
6 May 2004, 20:27
Um.. No I didn't. They only come in automatic sweetheart. You can't find many trucks with a manual unless you are going with the bottom of the line fleet vehicle. The Fords, Chevy, Toyotas, and Dodges all come with autos in their trucks. You can't get a crew cab with a manual unless you are getting a 3/4 ton or something.

Gambit
6 May 2004, 20:36
I stand corrected... "sweetheart" (?). Doesn't make it any less stupid, though, I'd love a manual transmission in my truck.

Sammy Sandbag
6 May 2004, 20:38
I used to be all about the manual trans, but times change, you grow up, and realize it's a bit pointless in a brand new truck. Now if it were a 350Z, I'd say otherwise. One nice thing about the Titan is that in automatically downshifts to engin brake when coasting. Pretty schweet.

I stand corrected... "sweetheart" (?).

That was more directed to this:

The dog gets him points, but Sammy, say it ain't so - an automatic? You totally lose any cool points for the truck because of that.

But you can still be my sweetheat Gambit, if you stop crying.

Thats retarded. I hate automatics, you don't have as much control over the vehicle. You would think it would make more sense to have the larger trucks in manuals.

Ckim715
6 May 2004, 20:50
I want a truck, but it hurts me to say that the nicer trucks don't come in manual. I refuse to drive an automatic :p

Hammer6
6 May 2004, 20:53
I'd deal with it.. especially for a new truck. Hell, I wouldnt mind an old truck. You know... beggars cant be choosers.
