I'm not a war-monger by any means and like most Soldiers I prefer peace... But I think this has gone far enough.

With each side having their various allies, I was thinking WWIII as well.

Really? Who's going to ally with N. Korea?

I could see China joining in the fight, but not too many other major countries... maybe Iran/Venezuela.

No way would China ally with North Korea in a full on shooting war. They would loose out on nearly all of their major markets, and their economy would take a massive hit, and for what to prop up Kim Jong IL, the Chinese are not that stupid, this is not 1952.
Iran is a meaningless ally, they lack the means to support the North Koreans in any meaningful way. I mean how would they move their troops or arms, etc to North Korea without being destroyed.

I was more concerned with China. Who knows about them... They're shady and they may not be as close to NK as they once were, but they're still not buddy buddy with the US.

That would be a stupid move of epic proportions. See rkam98's response. They'd rather be counting money than fighting some idealistic West vs East battle. There's no reason for any 1st world country to come to NK's aide, so all they'll get is fluff posturing by backwards-ass dictatorships / theocracies with nothing to lose.

This is what I was talking about...

Of course they don't want us to fight, but SK just got bombarded and they still urge 'maximum restraint'? Or what? Sure they could just say, oh well, dipshits fucked up... But why would they be pushing for restraint after this?
