New format is clean ... seems ok. looks like other new forums...
lost our branch insignia and avatars.
I couldn't get on -- wouldn't recognize my password... tried to register under my name and it had a good program to reset my password.
Don't see smiley's .
I'm sure there will be lots comments.
But I'll give an "atta boy" and thumbs-up to UN4 and Sammy.

Not to mention wtf is up with our jacked up rank??

Branch insignia, gimme some time.
Avatars, I've them all saved and I know who's who, but importing them is another matter.
We knew the passwords wouldn't jive up, forewarned, but really nothing we could do. It's all encrypted.
Smilies are all here :) :D ::roger:: (I could go on?)
Rank is just about the way it was before, minus the custom ranks. Did you want a custom rank?

Well I did have 2 stars, but yes I would like a custom rank. I want a butter bar for the next 18 months.
I'd suggest everyone edit their profile & change their profile's privacy settings to "registered users" vice "everyone"--unless you like living on the wide side.
Or maybe Un4 could make that a default setting for all? ;)
P.S. Un4, I can type the icon symbol in, but I can't find where to select them otherwise.

Happy with it. Thanks for putting in the work. It's weird to say, but I really enjoy this site and money to this site is long overdue from me. I'll take care of that soon. Whatever is fine man.
Skull: Not sure where you are seeing that Privacy Setting, not showing up on any of the options under settings for us non-MOD/Admins.

Awesome, can't find my old avatar on my computer or photobucket!
Guess I'm gonna have to go with The Cleaner instead...

A few things... Groups are fine. Only admins can change them, but they're in place IOT require everyone to post an intro. Avatars, I have them saved, working on it. We'll see. Ranks, figuring out.
Wes, click the "Private messages" link in the top-left of the page after you log in. On the left hand side, you should see "My Settings." six links down from there, you should see "Profile Privacy." That's where you'll be able to change you settings to "Registered Members." & no, it's not a MOD/Admin "thing." ;)

Ohhhh gotcha. I thought you were talking about primary groups users are associated with. Everyone that has posted an intro is a "regular user" and everyone else is a "registered user." This allows us to require intro posts. So if any spam makes it through it will always be in the inprocessing forum because that will be the only place they can post.
Let me see about the smilies.
So, leaving "everyone" as default keeps those who haven't posted an intro from seeing any of our profile information? (Just getting clarification here...)
Except for the "A" logo in the upper-left, & the green haze over the forum tab at the top, this place looks all "aerobic blue," like it should be renamed "A is for Air Farce" or something.
I'm just saying...
Oh, & the blue sheen in Un4's sig pic just gives credence to my beliefs! :D

Geez, get picky why doncha!?
Anywho, people that haven't posted an intro can do everything BUT post in places other than inprocessing. So do what you will.
As for the blue hue, the theme was orginally a blue one, but I've been gradually changing the theme's colors. But it's basically a one-at-a-time thing. I can't just change the whole scheme. :( I'll work on it.

P.S. Un4, I can type the icon symbol in, but I can\'t find where to select them otherwise. Everyone: Go to your settings, under \"General Settings\" scroll to the bottom to select your editor type. You want the WYSIWYG editor interface, otherwise you get just a text box. I tried to set this as the default for everyone, but haven\'t figured that out yet.

Is there any way we can get a "Hey go fuck yerself" smilie??

I honestly don't know wtf happened because I don't play "friends survivor" like Aries does. So you must've pulled the "defriend" trigger. Anywho, accept that one dude.

haha, I played a little bit of friend survivor after OCS, all the people that would put me at the bottom of the OML if I wasn't their friend....Gone Bitches!!

I just got back from a trip visiting my family, my brother in law's family, and my other brother in laws family in three different cities, so I'm going to have to check out all the features and make adjustments later.
But so far, I like what I see.

wow. just.. wow
Wes, it's something to take up with Un4, then. I don't know why the admins have restricted you like that.
If that's the default for all, it does concern me. I still haven't got a warm fuzzy on what those who haven't even posted in the intro section once can see of others on this forum.
& if Vbulletin is so sierra hotel at dissing spam, why are we still seeing it? I don't want to "fast-index" anything, anywhere. ;)

Setting has been fixed. All registered users should be able to set their own privacy settings now.

Eh, your profile isn't any info that people couldn't see before with phpBB, though. Sammy is johnny-on-the-spot.
Un4, you're correct. & Skull6TestAccount tells me that until you actually post an intro, you can't see anything (except a website that looks more like AIsForAirFarce).
I'm done playing now--gotta get back to work. But if you need me (or my evil twin) to test anything else out, drop me a line.
P.S. Been testing the site from both IE & FF--from both work & home. Works the same either way, so far as I can see.
