I've added three new icons to the Branch Insignia option under your profile page. The new one's are Police (at Domer's request), ROTC Cadet, and JROTC (for the Zaq types.) Please don't abuse this feature by putting random branches (Airjun.) The idea is that everyone can quickly see what your branch is or if you are a cadet or pig in Domer's case.

It's the "thin blue line" flag. You've probably seen the stickers on cars.

Thanks, Sammy. Now I feel loved. Okay, not really. But I'm going to check it out if I like it I'll switch, cause I'm not in the Infantry yet. But by God I will be someday and then I'll teach them sumbitches to have sex with my sister.
Okay, looked at it. And I'm guessin' Sammy changed it on me. But I like it and am going to leave it. Even though I'm in AFJROTC and not AJROTC. Damn high school don't have Army JROTC. Least I still got DEP.

Well hell, if you're going to get an SF icon you might as well get a Ranger tab icon too.

I thought we did have the SF icon. Anyway if you're still in ROTC, it'll be a while before you get to pin those bad boys on.

Um I've had the SF insignia since the beginning. Please know what the hell you are talking about before you open your cock holster. And on that note, I've also added a USMA Cadet insignia to the list.

SF is a branch, Ranger is not. Please read my instructions to Associate.

I took mine off since I'm out of ROTC and since I haven't actually contracted back with the AF (since I did turn down continuing the scholarship and got out). I will most likely go OCS with them after I graduate in a year or so, but it's not 100%. Army is still an option too though.

just screw it. I'll add it back. I was technically an A1C when I was contracted, spent all my life around the AF, flown a jet, did just about everything else AF and almost certainly join them. I'm as much AF as you can get at this point in life.

Did you miss my explaination earlier that Ranger is not a branch. If I start including things like ranger tabs, I'll be expected to upload every single damn qualification badge the Army has. It ain't gonna happen, especially seeing as how there aren't any ranger qual'ed users in this forum (that I know about.)
Okay, I'll give it a rest then. But if at any time you wish to upload it, I'll be fine with that.

How about putting that as a kind of secondary branch insignia for P/Rs?

For a serious answer, no. This goes along with ZaQ's earlier request for ranger tabs. Eventually I'll have requests for every kind of feel good uniform candy you can think of. "I wanna pathfinder icon.. I wanna halo... I wanna ranger challange tab... etc etc." As for you dirty civilians, you will just remain dirty.

Actually, it's the logo from motleyfool.com... I couldn't (easily) find anything else that represented a joker.
Ah, well, I guess the ultimate tag for a civvie in a military setting is no branch insignia, anyway...

That was my thought as well. Sorry, but this is an Army related website (whether our discussions are is another question.) I made the mistake of giving Domer the police icon, but he's an admin, so what are ya gonna do. Also, while not military, police do serve as uniformed law enforcement. It's just that their jurisdiction usually ends at the city line, and ours doesn't ever end. US Army, Policing the World since 1775.
