I'm former Air Force, served from 80-88 CONUS only.
Regret never having been blessed with an OCONUS tour.
I worked sheet metal on the BUFF and the KC-135.
Nuff said about that.
I have a stong connection to those in uniform now and in past conflicts. Many members of my family are now or have been in the Army. I was the odd man out, but they all forgave me, or so they say. ::lol::

My nephew (O-1) is going to Iraq in, I believe, March of 08. I'll let him know about this board if'n he doesn't already know about it.

Just got back from Oxford, Ms. Went there for Thanksgiving to see the other side of the family.
Got to tour the campus of Ole Miss. It was great. There was no one on campus so I got the leisurly tour of "the grove" and stuff like the Lyceum.

Skull6, the closest I've been to USAFA was The now closed Lowry AFB in Denver, TDY, for a short stint many years ago. I really enjoyed my stay there. December, if I remember correctly.
