I was born in Westchester. I like how everyone from NYC or Long Island considers it "upstate," while everyone else in the state considers it just an extension of the city.

Welcome to AIFA, where most of us check the forums more than a paranoid crack-addict checks his rock.

Actually, its quite the opposite, they have free market economics down to a science. I have to pay for internet access by the megabyte. 1.3 rubles a meg to be exact. It gets a bit pricey after awhile.

That's better than my $42.50/month for "wireless" here in Honduras. I have a wireless receiver that installed on top of my roof. A USB line comes in through my window and plugs into my computer that way.
Its slow, cuts in and out all day long, and doesn't work when its raining. But hey, at least I have internet...

$65 a month for shitty Haji wireless that I really only get to use for about an hour a day, and it's slower than pond water. But without it, no AIM, myspace, facebook, or AIFA.

There is a surprising number of people from my high school in the army. 2 people in my class enlisted in the Marines, 1 is at Annapolis and another grad commissioned out of Fordham. The name is just random, when I was younger I must have been eating some goldfish or something when I was trying to think about a name. Talking about internet I'm stealing my neighbors wireless. 40 bucks a month adds up after a while.

Stealing from a hotel on my palm right now. It might not be stealing, but its still pretty cool.
Anyway, debutante balls kick ass.
