OK so they changed it from NALC to LDAC, and now from LDAC to Warrior Forge???
What is the deal with all these different name changes in such a short period of time?

Why are we all wearing black berets would be a better question. Actually, I haven't heard of this name change until now, in fact it was just changed to NALC my MSII year. Before that it was just called Advanced Camp.

Just when I was getting used to calling it NALC...
So does anyone know the real deal? Is it still NALC or is "Warrior Forge".

Well, Cadet Command doesn't seem to know either... at the HQ/W. Region site (http://www.lewis.army.mil/accw/) the main link to the "event" is called NALC, but sub-links refer to Advanced Camp. Nothing about "Warrior Forge" could be found in a 5-second skim.

Well, CC is always about a year behind when it comes to updating anything about NALC. So about a year from now it should be called Warrior Forge, but by then they'll be calling it Happy Fun Time Leadership Training Party or HFTLTP.

They must have just updated it, because I was looking at that a couple days ago and it still had 2003 info and was calling it NALC. Apparently it's now officially called Leader Development and Assessment Course (LDAC) and Warrior Forge is the happy feel good name.
Yet another terrible waste of money and resources. This is the same fucked up type of decision making that led PERSOM to become known as Human Resources Command. I don't understand the reasoning behind this at all. It has nothing to do with being PC, it's just something for some general to put on his resume. As if the Army isn't backed up enough with paperwork, now another pointless change. This is the third name change in less than 5 years.

Huh... guess I missed that. You know, I don't like it...

yep...i'm not feeling the name change either. i think calling it "camp" is just fine with me. "warrior forge" is pretty gay...

theres actually only going to be 14 this year... they cut the original "1st reg", and then the "old" 2nd became the "new" 1st, so on and so forth...

Guess they need to update all their documentation then. http://www.lewis.army.mil/accw/tng_camp.htm
