That's like saying UNC Charlotte and UNC Chapel Hill are the same school.
FSU played Boulder, the main campus.

Perhaps, but from what I've seen/heard; Boulder is a liberal haven, not too well received by the folks in CS. I'm not from there, so couldn't tell you.
mrsrahoi where are you?

I AM in C/S, & yes--Boulder is all but the antithesis of this city in regards to righ v. left leanings. (C/S, with a combination of 5 major/ minor military "sites" located here) is pretty conservative.)

I am in Colorado Springs, but....
I am from Destin, Florida! haha. Most of my family are FSU fans and I have crap load of friends there.
(It took me a second to realize why you were being all seminole on me....)
And no, I don't care for that campus up in Boulder, I heard they are a bunch of liberals (to each their own) and the campus is really nice, but thats all I know. It's like we are the same but not really at all, rarely will you hear us associate with them. It’s a funny situation. We don't have a football team but we do have a few other teams. UCCS is mostly a commuter school, but I like it!

I'm a CU Alumni.
You made broad over-generalizations about a city you obviously know very little about. I could make quite a few statements about Destin and it's women from what I've only seen at the beach and the bars.
"Rarely will you ever hear us associate with them?"
So you won't associate with CU students because they're all pot-smoking hippies? Have fun at your next joint FTX. Don't believe everything you hear. Obviously Boulder is very liberal, but one thing I realized that applies at any university is that you are free to walk any line you want to. I was military, conservative, involved with the Greek system and gave some of my time to several Christian ministries/organizations. Sure, I don't agree with a lot of the political BS on campus, but I wouldn't trade my experience there for anything.

Yeah I stopped correcting people a long time ago.
"Yeah I go to UNCC"
"Oh I love Chapel Hill!"

Anyways, welcome FNG.

You should know that every place has its people who don’t really send the best impressions (maybe like the hippies in Boulder??) and what you saw at the beach and the bars might just be a tourist.
As for my statement about Boulder, I was really stating that I don't know anything about it. I have lived in Colorado for a little over a year and I have only really heard the hippie thing about it (well I also heard that some parts of there are dangerous {what place doesn’t have that?}, there’s a lot of good places to eat and everyone has a dog there). And I’m from the beach and all my friends are in college, so yeah, I really have no problem with pot smoking hippies, its just not the life I chose to lead and it seems to me that maybe you didn't choose that lifestyle either. When I said I didn't hear any one associate with it, it's true. Not in a snobby way, its just we are our own school way down here in the Springs and from what I've seen we claim CU but not really, just occasionally. It’s more like we are two different schools who are mostly independent of each other.
I don't know why you have to be all in the defensive mode when what I stated, to me, was not degrading or demeaning, just a statement from a girl who has only lived in this state for a year. I apologize if you took offense, but I’m not here to offend anyone, so maybe you should apologize to yourself to misinterpreting my post.

That was my point.
Blah blah blah apologize to yourself
Excellent non-apology apology.
