So if I were considering OCS for the Army, how much time before graduation should I try to talk to an officer recruiter? And where is OCS training located?

You don't have to have a degree to go to or finish OCS, so I wouldn't think it would matter how long after/before graduation you talk to a recruiter. The Army's OCS is located at Ft. Benning, but the National Guard does there own thing when it comes to OCS.

I thought OCS required you to either have a degree before, or get one after commissioning?

It does. I didn't state otherwise. Usually you have to obtain the degree within a certain timeline. 2 years comes to mind, but I could be wrong. A recruiter, actual OCS grad, or that website should have more info.

that's just in case some one decides to go during college right? Becuase if I go that route, I'll do it after I graduate and weigh my options.

Well yeah, if you already have a degree, that's one less thing you have to worry about.

For Guard OCS you have to have 60 semester credits to start, for Federal OCS you do need a degree. However, for the Guard you need to have 90 credits to recieve your commision.

For the Guard you have to complete your Bachelor's degree before you can be promoted to Captain.
