Riiiiggghhhtttt.... What are you smoking? Now I will agree that the .45 has a lot more stopping power than a 9mm, but the Beretta is no POS. 15 rounds vs 8 or 10, and it's a very well made gun.

I concur. And don't forget, the 9mm was good enough for Bond... it's not the size of the weapon or the stopping power, it's how many head shots you get... ;)

HOWEVER, I will say this much though: The H&K USP fits my hand like a glove, while the Beretta, although not uncomfortable, just doesn't feel right ot me..

The Beretta is a big gun, some say it doesn't fit their hand. I'd say that it is a very well made handgun and very reliable. Beretta has been making firearms longer than anyone, and there is something to be said for that. While you might find some in poor condition in the military, just think about how many soldiers have handled that weapon. I'm sure they have taken plenty of abuse. This is related to the M-16 debates often heard. People want to say it's a poorly made weapon and susceptible to jams. Like any firearm, if you don't maintain it, it won't function properly. I own a Beretta 92F, and have never experienced any problems.
