Guys,
I have normally used Form Flow to fill out Forms. Since Form Flow is such a piece of shit, I've tried downloading the PDF files from the Army Publishing Directorate. For some reason, I cannot edit the text fields, AND I believe that I have the full version of Adobe Acrobat 5.0.
I have Microsoft Word versions of some files... but do you have any suggestions? Or some way to edit the PDF Files?
Thanks

Not all PDF files allow you to edit them, that's kind of the idea behind them. Perhaps the one's you are downloading just don't have that feature. Which forms are you working on, maybe that will help?

Right now I'm filling out DA 4856 - Developmental Counseling.
Is there a way to find files that I can edit? Or unlock them? or something. I guess I'm not just that talented.

I think I have a word version of the 4856, if you want me to email it to you.

Alright thanks Ali and Sammy... That'll work, I'm still going to find the DA Forms, and as a matter of fact, I WILL NOT rest until I find them....
But I'm going to nap first.

LOL no that is what I wanted. I am still looking for the PDF "Fillable" versions. I appreciate your help and apologize for not clarifying.
Thanks

Why do they have to be PDF and why do you hate formflow? The Word docs work just fine.....
Not that it really matters to me, cause I just did two 4856s on FF and it was beYOOtiful

You can find PDF's that you can edit certain fields in. There are a few DA forms out there that allow this. You can't do much more than fill in the appropriate blanks, unlike Word docs that can be changed completely.
