Seriously. What the fuck is so hard about picking up a phone and making a call if you can't make it back on time?

Long story short: 40 something year old Spec 4 supposed to go on leave and come back two days ago. Instead goes to Vegas (not the location on his 31) with some broad and doesn't come back when his leave is up. He doesn't see anything wrong with this. He's asked me to help him get his E-5. This is the second mother fucker in two weeks to do this, the last one an NCO. Well, was an NCO. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here. It's like I literally have to spell out everything they can and can't fucking do.

Please tell me you active duty fuckers have problems like this.

Now, saying this, methinks Mr. E-4 should be seeing Mr. E-3 (or lower) in the mirror here real soon.

Yea, he will be. The state CSM already called asking about this guy. He said to send him the paperwork and he'll process the reduction.

Since I commissioned, I've been on full time orders much more than I haven't. There is no pseudo-civilian life.

Yeah we have problems on AD too. Like cocaine apparently. I got a good AWOL story for you. How about our LEGAL NCO went AWOL? You know... the guy who is supposed to HELP commanders process AWOL guys... yeah...

The same guy that went AWOL, a few weeks ago was on pass up in Tucson. He was shacking up with some chick he met online (even though he's married). He rented a Dodge Charger. After he got done bangin her, he fell asleep. He woke up, his cell phone, wallet and car were gone. Apparently she had taken them and gone to buy drugs. Phenomenal.
