The Citadel... being from Charleston I was supposed to go there but they werent able to get me the scholarship in the time that I wanted. they called me and asked what it would take, I told them a scholarship by tomorrow, they told me it would take a month so I told them sorry. How do you like it?

when were they offering you a scholarship? Was this in your Jr yr or something? Becuase they were throwing money at me and wanted me in their honors college.

sr year of high school. I didnt apply, but I had been talking to an admissions counselor there before. they wouldve given me the money, but i told them i needed the promise then and there. Navy and the Point had already told me at a minimum I was going to their prep school, so I pretty much was fucking with The Citadel. although it was fun one time I was in charleston and was taking pictures with my aunt, this little girl came up to me and said "my daddy went to the citadel" (i was wearing my dress gray 'dr evil' uniform). I wanted to tell her "yeah, but I am going to a real military school. but i didnt.

The Citadel just "inherited" their Superintendant from USAFA.

IMO, you can definitely keep him--we don't EVER want him back. Oh, & be ready to suffer some MAJOR "touchy-feely" training there soon, if he hasn't already implemented it.

Ah, I see Aries. I applied, and I was still considering them until about March of my SR yr. Came down to whether or not I wanted to go to a military school or not.

Is Rosa still there? If so, he's a Citadel grad, and I remember when he was a Col and the 20th FW Commander at Shaw.

No, thank goodness he's not.

WAY too many broad-brush touchy feely changes for my tastes. Half of which (at leat) have already been rescinded or just plain old thrown out already.
