Sammy/Domer: You mind if we have our own group?
I can think of more than a few things that would be better off dicussed just between us rather than available to everyone who looks at AIFA.
Any other Vets think this would be a good idea?

You got my vote, with the understanding that some of the "lessons learned" that we share might also benefit the rest of the forum members...

Lessons learned are what we can put in the open forum. But I also think there is stuff that just wouldn't go over well with the general public. (Everyone, not just members can read the open AIFA board. Some people tend to forget that when they post on web forums.)

Are you wanting to concentrate on possible VA benefits, gruesome war stories, or what?
Wes

More along the lines of "what if'ing" terrorist stuff and I'd rather not give the BG's any ideas. Throw around what went wrong and right that we have seen in the Army. War stories are optional, but not a main focus. Though I'm more apt to BS about some of the stupid/fun stuff that went on OCONUS that I don't feel like sharing on the open board.

Ah, got it.
I'm getting concerned about the radical Islamists furthering the rift between themselves & Christianity. I'm hoping that a more respectful ground can be found between the 2 religions--which basically means I hope the more moderate Islamists can rope in their more radical counterparts.
If the US, or those of Chrisitan beliefs, responded with deadly force to every slight they thought thrown at them, where would we be?

Here's an example of what I'm basing my concern on:

Agreed that some of the topics shouldn't be for the general public. Yes, there are things we can use as AAR topics in the Real Army forum, but then again, there are things that only we can understand.

As in ALL the myriad of emotions we go through in the space of about 1.5 seconds when we see one of our own fall?

Just remember, it take a wk or two since Sammy's out in the field and Domer is not online often

Like Domer would know how to do anything to begin with. We haven't seen a new comic since I was commissioned and we expect him to create a whole new forum?

I don't know what's going on with the comic, but even though Sammy is the main administrator of this site, Domer knows his way around it as well. I was actually talking to him online, while he was working on creating a sub forum a while back. He would make some changes, and then ask me what they looked like on my end. Just to make sure everything was working properly.
