This is admittedly a thread ripped directly from another website but i thought it was worth sharing. It contains a few pictures of the new ARH in flight for the first time in Army hands. The contents of the original thread on kiowapilots.com is contained below.


"Got approval from Bell Helicopter to share these with you.

This is the YRH-70A SDD #1 aircraft that flew for the first time yesterday morning. While there are numerous testing sensors and antennas installed on this aircraft and no weapons, it is still truly an awesome and impressive looking aircraft. "

Hmmmm, I was told it was number designation 69, wonder if they changed their minds or if that was just a rumour all along. Still a gay aircraft.

hey, atleast it's a bell helicpoter and not a eurocopter...the army wouldn't be that stupid...right?
