Dating in ROTC

Is there any written policy against dating other members of ROTC? I have heard it is frowned upon, but is it really considered that big of a deal?

Yeah, my BN is going to shit because there is a lot of people that cannot handle it like mature adults.

I don't believe there is any written policy, and I know of at least one "ROTC couple" that got married.

Ditto that. There are problems with dating cadre (which has happenned before in my BN!), but I don't think there's an official policy on inter-cadet dating. I mean, shit, people get kicked out of camp for screwing in the woods almost every year! 'Course that's a little different. ;)

Chances are, if the fuck you they fucked most of the rest of the BN. No offense, but that's the way it seems to work most of the time...

Domer, you nailed that right on the head... they are just going up (or down) the ranks. It wouldnt be bad if your #1, but youd probably feel like shit, thinking you were something special, but its even worse being the last... its like your having sex with everyone else in BN. And some of the guys in my BN have more types of VD than the entire Vietnam war.

Cadets don't fall under UCMJ, so I don't think it matters if you date or not. The Cadre has an SOP against it I'm sure, being that it would give an extremely unprofessional image of the Army. Cadet on Cadet sex can't ever be stopped....God willing

As far as I know it isn't a big issue unless you or your cadre make it one. Dating enlisted as an officer or dating a superior officer etc. would be a big problem. Cadets dating cadets, while maybe frowned upon, is still acceptable.
