Well...I'm Kristin, aka Cadet Fourth Class Kristin Bevins, (soon to be Cadet Third Class!!!) currently a cadunk at USAFA (don't hold it against me, for all of you Army types). I'm an Army brat, extremely proud of my father. Looking to cross comissioning into the Army, hopefully to fly Apaches. AF killed my dreams of flying the Pave Low, it's being replaced by the Osprey. ::sad:: Not much to say, really, I lead a boring life on my isolated hill. Looking forward to the summer, I can't wait to go home for leave. Unfortunately I have to go to Malmstrom AFB for 3 weeks first. Space Ops and Missles...oh boy. :X I'd rather go to Minot, at least they have helicopters there! Even if they are Hueys.

Well, that's just spiffy. I wasn't sure, figured I might as well cover all my bases. And I don't want ya'll to think I'm a cocky little bastard like most USAFA cadets. I've heard too many of my dad's buddies complain about cocky LTs, I'm determined not to be one, it's bad enough being the FNG.

Well, seeing as how I rarely leave base, and no one can get into the cadet area unless they have a proximity card specific to USAFA, I'm pretty sure crazy men will have a hard time getting to me and molesting me or whatever. Pretty much, I'm almost always here on the hill.

"Plebe" I don't know about ya'll but here we're Smacks. And back off, just because I'm at the bottom of the heap doesn't mean you have to be a d*ck to me. I've earned my right to be here and I've earned my prop and wings.

it's not just AFA cadets, it's most AF cadets in general. I tend not to get along with many AFROTC cadets for some reason. Is your dad enlisted? I tend to hear the same from many NCOs, including my dad.
And also, there are some people here with experience in both branches of cadet land. Such as Domer and myself.

Women don't fly the Pave Low and won't fly the Osprey, so its moot anyway.
Welcome, check your PM's

I can always dream. It's not a dream I hold very close, because I know it more than likely won't come true. No one in my class will go to the Pave Low anyway. So oh well. There are other helicopters.

Welcome, SMACK-soon to be 3-smoke, from an '88 USAFA grad who went Army. Now, rack it back, & if you have questions, PM me...
P.S. I've posted an intro, in case this confuses you more than your smack year has...
