Actually, there is a cap on bandwidth, but we're not in danger of reaching it anytime soon. It's more of a "is that really necissary?" type of issue. The idea is that pointless shit is welcome, but keep it in the right forum/category. That's why I created the FOD bucket. The other forums were getting jammed up with things like "the most pointless thread of all time." It's not really a problem for those of us who frequent the board on a regular basis, we can seperate the crap from the content. But for the new guys or guests on the forum, all they see is "Dick and Fart" jokes, one after another. You're more than welcome to be humorous, witty, or even offensive in all the forums, but just as long as there's some meat to your post. Pointless drivel with no content or value gets sent to the FOD Bucket. So if you are feeling the need to post something pointless, you'd be better served to go ahead and start it in the Bucket.
