You think you could let us in a little on what setting up/running a web forum such as this entails?

I understand it's alot of effort/time/money, but specifically? Also I've noticed alot of forums are the same (although this one is noticeably different), is there some sort of template or prefab design you can use, or do you have to be a complete and total computer wonderchild?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated/Keep up the good work!

(If you couldn't tell, I'm a complete n00b at this, just trying to get my bearings straight)

I use phpbb. You can find it at http://www.phpbb.com

There are lots of styles available if you don't want to customize it yourself, which is what I did. Are you looking to start a forum or what exactly?

I was thinking about it. I'm trying to join the IDF and hadnt had much luck finding a good forum, but there was a messageboard where people can post and some guys were talking about trying to start a forum since a message board has alot of problems. However I think I may have finally just stumbled upon a forum today actually that fits basically what I was thinking about so we'll see.

I'm still not leaving Aisforarmy anytime soon though so dont get your hopes up. ;-)
