Hi everyone, from Balad, Iraq, where I've just taken over my first platoon. I lucked out and got a GREAT PSG and a GREAT platoon and I'm learning a lot. The soldiers love it when I ask questions, so I do often just to understand things. Signal's pretty fucking tricky. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and let you know that I'm still around and trying to check the site when I can - slow internet here...damn Signal bastards.....

Good to hear that you are doing well. That's kind of fucked up that the first platoon you got was on deployment. You'll probably learn much quicker though. And just be glad that you have internet access while in Iraq. I'm sure there're plenty of grunts out there that would love to get there mitts on some Interenet porn.

So AirborneAli your in Balad. I've been there quite often. I'm in Tikrit, email me and let me know your DNVT number and I'll see if we can meet up, it's only about 2hrs south of me.

Don't you go moving in on my tail, thisguy. Even if you are several thousand miles closer than me, with no forseeable consequense (sp?), and she's technically not my woman.

We little guys stake our claim where we can, you know...

it would figure that Domer resurrects with a comment on keeping AirborneAli... maybe the subject for the next cartoon? hmmm...

oh, and get in line, Domer...

Here's AIFA's favorite soldier girl defying the Man with a blatant misuse of US equipment. Good on ya' AA.
