Started BOLC II this Sunday and from all the nightmares that I've heard about, its really not the same as it was this past summer.
No more standing at parade rest for NCO's barking orders, you get nights and weekends off, no room inspections (you don't even have to stay here if you don't want, you can even bring your own sheets if you want). Lots of free time during the day.
Day 1: Inprocess, fill out some papers, get linen, get a key, get TA 50, eat if you feel like it or where you feel like it. CO brief.
Day 2: Bn CO Brief, Reg CO Brief
Day 3: AG, Finance, Urine test,
I'll tell you what goes on for the rest of the days if you want, but it's nothing like LDAC was.

well there is no way they can have privates so everyone can play PL... so in a sense you will be "demoted" again lol all for good training though

The first week of basic is always admin. (just like the last few days of outprocessing.)
Keep taking notes. Interested in your and (your friends) perceptions.
There has been a lot of work on this.
You can find yourself in the box within a few months of graduation. This course is supposed to help speed the process of acclimation to combat.
Good luck. Keep your eyes and ears open to learn and absorb as much as you can.

As far as learning anything, like I said, it's the first week. And yes I expect to learn a few things because I've never done half the things that are on the training schedule. Full week of combatives, Convoy operations, Urban Operations, Familiarizations on weapons such as M4/M16(not really new), 240B, MK 19, Klaymore mines, M203. Plus things like the land nav course is a lot harder than almost anywhere else. And as an LT student, we're expected to plan everything, we'll see how it goes.
If you're going to BOLC II, which every new LT will be this summer, Don't bring any TA-50, they give you everything, all you really need is uniforms and civilian clothing.

What auxillaries can you bring? Like what is the down time like?
I have no problem training, that's the easy part... It's killing the downtime in between. Like airborne school, omg it sucked at night and weekends?

uh, yeah, harder land nav than say . . . USMA Site 2.
Not to play the pissing contest game, but the 101st, 82nd, 25th, and Ranger RGT guys who have been training us have all said it's the hardest one they've ever done.
At least since we only let you use a 1:50000 map. With a 1:25000, it would be sick easy I'm sure - other than the physical suckfest it represents.

Site 2? was that the final test for day and night land nav? I almost fell off a fucking cliff doing the night one, if it wasnt for my battle buddy i probably wouldve broken a few things. and things changed since i did it, cuz we didnt have to do a fucking squad movement land nav, that mustve been fun. but that shit did suck a lot.
and the hardest land nav i ever did was at Benning, not USMA. that was probably because the 3rd ID went around and cut all the chem lights off the points.

As far as down time, you can bring pretty much anything you want with you. And yes, our barracks are right next the the OCS's.
Week 2, 0600-0700 PT Combatives 0830-1200 then classes from 1400 to 1700. Taking control of your platoon, and them AIMS and BRM for the rest of the week, then its off to the range.
And thanks USMA cadets for being so cool. I think every night how I havn't been on Site 2.
