I think one thing we should all give thanks for are all of our selfless soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines serving your country in the name of liberty and freedom. Bear in mind the individuals who cannot be with their families and loved ones, a luxury so many of us have come to expect around holiday time, and give thanks for the fact that so many Americans are willing to sacrifice thousands of miles from home, so that their families and countrymen may continue to live comfortably, free from opression, tyranny and persecution.

To all of our American servicemen and servicewomen, from all of us here at A is for Army, Thank you. Have no doubt that we support you, are thankful for you, and eagerly await your safe return, as you bravey serve our country.

Not at all along those lines, a new comic was posted yesterday, but I'm such a slack-ass, I didn't notice. So here it is; ridicule away!

Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to give a little bit of thanks for all the police, paramedics and firemen that serve while you are home with your families, or asleep in bed, so you can remain safe and secure on the streets of your hometown.

You've heard enough from me.

Got laid plenty, got drunk with my best friend who was home on leave from Afghanistan, got drunk with the family on Thanksgiving (played bocce ball drunk for three hours while sporting a Scottish accent that was really only funny for the first half hour), and slept a lot. It was nice.

I was in Colorado for thanksgiving, nothing open on TG day except for IHOP, so that's where I ate. I had my "real" thanksgiving meal the Saturday before, so I could watch the Tigers beat the Gamecocks yet again.

So Tiddle met my mom's side of the family wednesday night. You should of heard all of them, she had like 10 grapetini's the first night, they were all so proud that I brought someone that could handle their alcohol into the family. Then the next day we started in on Bloody Mary's and screw drivers then about one we switched to margaritas. We had 2 fried birds, a huge regular style one and a ham. Biggest problem of the day was that liquor stores aren't open on Thanksgiving. So by the end of the night we had moved on to wine. My family had a neighbor come over thanksgiving morning just to serve us bloody mary's. All in All it was good times...
