If you are not a member of a specific group, you will not be able to see that forum. This is so private conversation specific to that group will not be readable by all our members.

In order to join a group:

1. Click the "Groups" link at the top or bottom of the page.
2. Find a group that you want to become a member of using the scroll menu
3. Click view information
4. On the next page locate the Group's Moderator
6. Click the "PM" button to the left of the Moderator's Name
7. Simply type a short message explaining that you wish to join the group
8. The moderator will reply with further instructions if necessary

Note (14APR2004)- if you are seeking access to the Pershing Rifles forum, please private message (PM) both Domer (http://www.aisforarmy.com/bb/privmsg.php?mode=post&u=4) and Sammy Sandbag (http://www.aisforarmy.com/bb/privmsg.php?mode=post&u=3). The first one to get your message will add you to the group. Thanks!

Simple as that.

If you can't find a group on AisforArmy.com's Butcher Block that fits you, start one. If you belong to a military organization or club and want to start an exclusive forum, simply PM me. You can also start a new topic in this forum to see if there is any interest in your group.

Currently there are groups set up for:
Pershing Rifles
Scabbard and Blade
Fresno State Bulldog Battalion
Seton Hall Univ. Pirates
USMA Black Knights

Go HERE (http://www.aisforarmy.com/forum/groupcp.php) for the most up to date groups list.

Note: Battalion/School groups are hidden from public view, so that our member's can remain anonymous. The moderator for those groups must add you to the group. Don't worry, they'll know. If for some reason you do not get added, you can Private Message me, and I'll get you squared away.

Might I suggest a few groups that you might want to create:

A group forum just for your school's battalion.
A tactical/ranger club group
A group for your OBC class
A group for your NALC regiment (future or past)
A Ranger Challange group
Any thing else you might know of

Remember, there's not really any point to starting a user group unless there is a healthy number of possible users. So get your buddies on to AisforArmy.com's Butcher Block and start something.

As mentioned earlier, well in a roundabout way, we are looking for people to step up to the plate and become group moderators. We recently added a new group for Fresno State. So if you are a FS cadet, go ahead and apply to that group. Contact me through PM or AIM to get your own forum and group for your battalion. All the conversation is kept out of public eyes and can only be viewed by those admitted to the group by the appointed moderator.
