Hey everyone, I'm an MSI this year. Uh... majoring in Biomedical Engineering, and hopefully going to med school, but I don't know if thats what I want to do yet. Just got back from my first Ranger Challenge road march. Had a blast, and didn't get any blisters. Hooah!

Im so sick of the word (or made up word, I guess) "hooah," after the drill sergeants in AIT said it after EVERYTHING. Talk about irritating. Especially since we are MI. We dont do "hooah training," or whatever the fuck you want to call it.

an MS I in biomedical engineering huh......
Good luck, I have you know that in ROTC, the statistics are rather high that your major will change to Criminal Justice or General Studies by the end of next year.
Hope you do well though, good luck and welcome to the strange world of AIFA

Welcome! Study hard and maybe you'll beat the odds. I was kinda giggling because I remember Welcome Week my freshman year... went around our first meeting "Hi I'm Susie and I'm pre-med", "Hi I'm David and I'm pre-med", "Hi I'm James and I'm pre-dental", Hi I'm Kate and I'm pre-pharm", "Hi I'm Jen and I'm pre-med".
End of the semester? Good portion of the pre-pharms still were; most of the rest (say 90% of those that were pre-med/dental/law) were business, education, marketing, language studies...

when I came to Marshall, I think 65% of our Batt. was criminal justice majors. Still a pretty high number today, including myself

pre-med is tough. your class will probably lose 50% by senior year (maybe more). take a head count.
good luck.
