Glad to hear that someone is promoting the site other than myself (you hear that Domer?) So is there some sorta cadet discussion going on over at military.com (if so, provide a link)? Ever time I go over there, I'm just unimpressed by the level of discussion. Not that we're the prime example of an Army related web site.

No, not really. I just ghost around there for the most part, and once in a while you find the random piece of wisdom. I've found platoonleader.army.mil a much better site. Its full of, dare i say, intelligent discussion from LT's to cadets. Check out the Pre-commissioning forum as well as the tools section-they have a lot of good stuff like well thought out pre done OPORDER matrixes. (say that 5 times fast)

Those bastards, they've taken my ideas. Strange that I've never heard of that site before, but it does look like they have some useful information. Seems a little too high speed to be a dot mil site if you ask me. I wonder who is actually behind it. Maybe we can arrange some sorta exchange between them. Sorta like a prisoner exchange, say I give them Zirk and the Token Gook and they give me all their cadets. Wait, what am I saying? That'll never work, that is a completely unfair trade. Zirk would just flood their forums with pointless one-liners and the Gook would just drop homo-erotic tag lines every other post. But seriously, I wouldn't mind hooking up with those guys and tapping them for some resources. Those of you who are members there should try and help us out by doing a little shameless name dropping.

Follow the steps

1. Sign up for applicable study abroad program.
2. Be sure to sign the contract bankrupting you if you withdraw.
3. Neglect to tell the cadre until a month prior to LD time.
4. Live the sweet civilian life in a foreign country.
5. Laugh at different "cultures."
6. Fulfill MS requirements through cadre arranged "correspondence course."
7. Return the "worldly" cadet, lie: "In Europe, we only drink Stella Artois!"

And it's less steps than troop leading! But don't take my word for it.

Well, it's hard to get a bunch of good-for-nothing flatfeet to do anything besides keep down the little guy. Maybe I need a new line of work. One more condusive to recruiting for the site. What with the very few brain cells I have left, I'm lucky I can still pump out a comic every once in a while.
