Haha, I've lived in Orlando for 18 years, then moved away for school. After I came home for summer, it just sucked. It's hot as fuck, and boring as hell.

It's just because you went to school out of town man. The summer was a two month long party followed by a little bit of summer school (accompanied by an equal amount of partying). Being back in real classes blows (just like getting up for PT:().

shit.. i love Orlando. downtown is great, university and alafaya is wonderful. and the ale houses all around town. if you cant have fun in orlando, you just cant have fun.

I actually enjoyed Hurricane Charley. The shitty part is cleanup. And 11 days without power. That sucks too.

I have a friend from florida and I asked them what they did while they ride out hurricanes, and he said that they would buy all the ice they can and have three kegs or so and ride it out w/ his friends.

Doesn't sound too bad to me. If it's gonna get hairy, might as well be drunk

One of my friends was working in CVS during the storms, and when the power went out, they got to eat all the ice cream in the store.
