One of our MSIV's was intensely proud of his status as a tanker, and considered himself to be the complete opposite of a pogue, and would make many jokes at the expense of pogues. He also loved pimping the tanker boots.

Also, just because I don't know, are Cav Scouts considered pogues, too?

You have to be eligible to get a CIB/EIB to be considered a non-pogue.

But pogue is not a bad term. REMF is an insult, pogue really isn't.
