call me slow, but why the football helmet? you ought to put use one of those helmets with beer cans on the sides with straws so you can be lazy, yet drunk.
On second thought, that might take some effort. Fuck it, i like it the way it is.

I just no likey. The screw and the beer are the only redeeming qualities of that one.

change the football hemet to a beer helmet and change the beer to a cigarette lighter.

I'm going to have to say no-go on the beer helmet. As funny as it is, it would just be too much going on. Know what I mean, try to keep it fairly simple. I went with the mug and helmet, because the original had a lamp (sorta looks like a funky mug) and a spartan-esqe helmet. I thought football, due to the fact that college-life is somewhat involved with the sport. I could try to work a zippo into it, instead of the helmet or the lamp (that would make more sense), but I would like to keep some sorta head-gear. How's about a Jimmy Hat? Any more suggestions?

Once the final design is decided and cleaned up, I'm sure I'll also make a subdued one.

Since when is a beer helmet not headgear? On a different note, not sure that I'm a big fan of the general concept of that L/E logo... but that's just me... think there are better things to copy as a main logo, maybe this could be a secondary one or something. Just a thought.

I'll start entertaining suggestions just as soon as I get some.

*chuckle*... OK, I asked for that one. Suggestions... that queer-looking guy with the M-16 at the top of every page (but then, that might be gay), or have Domer draw something... maybe just slap a few strip characters together. Something that's an AIFA original I guess is what I was shooting for... although you've certainly made a career out of ripping off AROTC, so maybe that's good enough to base a logo on.. hmmmm....

If we have to wait for you "to get some" Sammy, we may be here a long time. Why not change direction and make something more like a school unit patch or something rather than a cadet command patch. Just a thought. Something like this:

Oh, yeah, that's reinforced toe and heel, bitch!

instead of a nail, use a cigarette

It was a screw. It's kind of difficult to make a one color cigarette and have it recognizable.

its called KEVLAR, yes thats the only protection us ground pounders get. A simple weaving of senthetic plastics.

I prefer Brain-bucket or K-Pot or CaaavvLAR.

I heard that you can do anything with your kevlar, like dig a hole in the ground, cook in them, hitting people with them, and other things.

cook in them
It's kind of difficult to cook in something made out of a composite material like Kevlar. I think you are thinking of the old steel pot style helmet that had a composite inner shell and a steel outer shell that could be removed.
