Officer, that is, I'd be glad to take a stab at answering them. I was career all the way until a knee injury ended that.
However, I lived through all the experiences of being a company grade combat arms officer and even dated a CSS officer, so I could probably answer those questions as well.

On reflection...I don't want to sound like I'm tooting my own horn or anything, but I am here if you have any questions about being a 2LT or better in the US Army. You can PM me or just fire away on this forum, I will do my best to answer your questions.

The GI bill cannot be used by USMA grads, or anyone in ROTC that has recieved a schoarship. I didn't find that out till they put the waiver in front of me

If you take a scholarship, kiss the GI bill goodbye. Even if by "scholarship" they mean "sign this and we won't kick you out"...
Now, you will have tuition reimbursment, which is currently at 100%. You take some college courses toward your master's degree and teh gubment pays for it.
The catch is, for every day, hour, minute, you spend in class, the government gets back 3 of the same. So you take a year of classes, and the Army "conscripts" you for 3 years.
Fair trade, eh?

I was on 155s first the Paladin then the M-198. You want to get with one of the SBCT (Stryker Brigade Combat Teams) up in Ft. Lewis (They have a bunch of cool new toys)

Yeah, and if anyone wants to know what it's like to be the lowest ranking officer in a logistics command, to sit through hours of powerpoint slides about equipment and pallets and other loggie terms just hoping someone will ask about comms, to hear for the 1 millionth time "what's a 2LT doing here?! You should have a platoon!" or to watch a bunch of high ranking officers try to put up tents while the soldiers laugh..just ask me!
No, I'm not bitter at all.
