My apologies if this is inappropriately placed in this section of the Forums, but as a fellow cadet, I feel this is a great thing to share.
The Web Cadet Corps. A cadet corps online, branching from Army to Coast Guard, Air Force to Space, Marines to Navy. You register for the corps in your desired section, take 2 very brief 10 question quizzes to confirm your interests, and you're off into the world of the web's only cadet corps, run by young adults and run in an unbelievably organized fashion.
Rank structure, trades and qualifications, an NCO and Officer's College, the potential for learning and advancing through the ranks of this online cadet corps is unbelievable. Everybody is approachable, and everybody enoys it: the forums are the most lively and welcoming around. There are different opportunities for different positions within the corps, and being promoted and holding these positions relies on how qualified you are, and there are limitless possibilities to become qualified on interests that matter to cadets.
It's done with the cadets in mind, and the organization is unbelievable. This is not thrown together: it is an experience that is nearly impossible to describe over a forum.
