Does anyone know how to make a flash video or how did you make that cool navigation bar? What is the best program should I use and where can I get a free one?

Cool flash videos?? Sorry Phinx but we don't have any on this site. As far as the navigation bar goes, I just used a swap image behavior with Dreamweaver (http://www.macromedia.com/software/dreamweaver/) and did the graphics with Fireworks (http://www.macromedia.com/software/fireworks/). Both of these programs have free 30-day trial versions and are made by the same company that makes Flash (http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/). I suggest downloading the trial versions then teaching yourself. There are plenty of forums out there for people looking to learn, I suggest you do some searches.

Hey, along these same lines, I just became custodian of some Alienskin plugins for Photoshop CS. Anyone ever use them, or at least can someone steer me towards some decent Alienskin tutorials that I don't need a PhD in computer graphics to understand?

Never used them or any skins in Photoshop CS. Let me take a look when I get to my computer and I might be able to figure it out on my copy.

Alienskin makes some wicked plugins for Photoshop. Lightning, animal skin effects, etc.
