I'm curious what everyone listens to.
I personally like everything but have a preference for rock. Stuff like Chevelle, System of a Down, Trust Company, you know, that shit I like. :) What do you like?

I'm pretty picky when it comes to music. No rap, hip-hop, R&B, heavy metal, country, and only some oldies. I like classic rock, '90s alternative rock (none of this Good Charlotte crap, I prefer bands that can write their own music), and some new stuff like the White Stripes.

My music library has an assorted collection of GOOD '80s songs.

i got the same thing in my truck. 1/6 is top the mixture stuff, 2/7 is rap/hip-hop, 3/8 is country, 4/9 is rock and 5/10 is oldies.

1 is Rock/Punk 2 is Rock/Metal 3 is Rock/Old School 4 is Soundtrack of the season (as they call it, just christmas music 24/7) 5 is Rap/HipHop and 6 is Rap/HipHop


I dont buy Rap/Hiphop albums though, only rock.

I think he was referring to the double-preset that most stock stereos have. You press the preset once to get one station and then you press the preset again to get the other.

lol... associate, you're an idiot. ;) I was actually referring to preset sections... my 1-6 is rock/top 40, hit the flip button to get to 'FM 2', 7-12, which is country, and then once more to 'FM 3', where 13-18 are R&B/Hip-Hop.

Well with my 40 presets on XM I virtually have a preset area for everything to include classical, house, and traffic/weather for DC, Baltimore and New York.

I love a variety of stuff, old school punk, classic rock, underground hip-hop, metal, electronica, classical...but particularly I'm a big radiohead fan...as far as dislikes..country bores me, mainstream hip-hop is hilariously dumb, and the pop-punk bands are just annoying.

i'm not a huge fan of XM. i thought it would be great but because of its huge variety of stations there really isnt any great channels. i find myself contantly searching through the channels trying to find something i'll like. hopefully it'll grow into something awesome

XM 20 is good. I tend to listen to the Sports and News more then anything else. Ch 21 and 22 are good also is you look hits over the last 10 years and the 90's channel always has something on to make me get all nostalgic about my childhood.

lot of it is carried over from when I first registered here. Some of the same can be applied to Domer. When I first started posting, it was a small group that was always posting. Since we all pretty much knew each other, Domer and I naturally took most of the bad jokes. And it just kinda continued over the past year or so. It was much worse when thechick was still around though. She always cracked on me the most.

I pretty much listen to anything although I'm getting more and more irate at what record labels are starting to call music these days. Some of the foder that actually makes it to the radio is incredible. I have actually gotten to the point now where I give most of my cd's to my kid brother just to keep him from having to hear half the pointless drivel thats out there, granted mom wasn't too happy when my at the time 12 year old brother was listening to a compilation of WuTang and Rage but hey its better than the latest thing anyone with LiL in there name has put out in the past 5 years.
