Hey, anyone out there. What is there to do on Army Posts that are stuck in the middle of no where? Suggetions, comments, funny stories? Anything, we've discovered beer and fat chicks, there's got to be more to life...?

And what's wrong with drinking? And anyone can learn to love a big woman. But seriously, I guess it all depends on where you are at. One thing you can always do is get started in outdoor activities. You know: camping, rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing, skiing, etc. One thing about Army installations; they're hardly ever near civilization (at least of mentionable size) excluding DC of course. I suggest you get into something outdoors, find an activity you enjoy and chances are you can pick it up again at ever post you go to.

Sell AIFA swag, and send us the profits. Sammy's mom could use a new set of dentures. What with the social security not making ends meet these days.

Well depending on how far they let you out, you are about 2 hours away from Lafayette which has a pretty good night life and 3 hours away from Baton Rouge, which is where LSU is located as well as where I am right now. Good times at either location, I don't know terribly too much around where you are though. If you're 21, you can hit up Lake Charles which has lots of casinos and is only about an hour away.

lol. I did 3 before I realized what was goign on. I did another one and a half just because.
That night, I puked all over one of those hotdog vendors stands, all over the grill.
Yup... that's the only time I've had alcohol poisoning, I think, mild though.
*shudder*
They're good, though, and I'd do it again.

I did 5 and was humping palm trees and cop motorcycles. Needless to say it was a shitty wake up the next day.
I still don't think I've completely sobered up from my second trip there, back in '99. I do know, however, I am stupider now.

You know what's funny? I may have seen you there. At least, I definitely ran into a few of your kind in uniform at a sidewalk cafe, on my way with a few of my kind to get into our uniforms... we were all doing the Endymion parade, as I recall. Good times to be had by all.

As a native New Orleanian...I hate Hand Grenades...I think they are the nastiest things ever...Hurricanes I do enjoy much better...I have seen many a tourist/friend get over the top plastered on the hand grenade though, definitely does not make for a good wake up.

Yes, just ask creekcu and me about our ride home from Mardi Gras.
Okay, I play your silly game.....what happened on your ride home?
All I remember from NO is getting really bombed, puking, drinking more, and waking up to a hottie next to me in bed that I had no business sleeping with other then she most of gotten totally wasted. I of course like a real man(often synonomous with asshole) nailed her one more time while sober just so I could remember tapping the fine thing.
Then I think I drank alot more again the next night and landed some skank LSU girl.
Ah, the memories. I need to roll through there with LSUSUF though sometime. We'd tear it up much like we did Toledo and Lincoln(though weren't you nderage then???).

Indeed I was, but now I'm alls grown up, will be 22 in a few days. Come on down, we'll tear it up...I won't be here too much longer, 163 days til the AF scoops me up and sends me to Intel School.
Nov 15th through Jan 1 2005 is my tour of the country. Baltimore, New Orleans, and LA on the list.

Sammy, didn't you piss on a cop car?
No, that was another guy we were with, and it wasn't a cop car, it was a NG Humvee.
Well, remember LA is where the family is located. So that will be more of a recovery/take my little bro to his soccer games time period.
Perhaps a time to "find myself" after the hell that is the election cycle is complete.
